I haven't written for a very LONGGGGGG time. Sorry. And, I know I will get some hate mail because of what I am about to tell you but........
Yes, the REAL heartland of America agreed with and voted for George W. Bush because he stands firm. PERIOD. I don't agree with all that he has done, but he was, by far, the better choice. Kerry would have sold us off to China and/ or North Korea for a song and a dance, just as Chamberlain did to the British before WW II!
